A room built to make dinner feel like an occasion

Vinayak Cafe & Restaurant is a family restaurant and cafe in Mumfordganj, Prayagraj, dressed in crystal, marble and velvet, with a kitchen that cooks familiar food with care.

Why we are called Vinayak

Vinayak is one of the names of Lord Ganesha, the one invoked at the start of every good beginning. It felt right for a place where families gather to begin a celebration, close a deal over dinner or simply start the weekend.

His emblem, framed in a gold laurel, glows on our living green wall. Most guests stop for a photo in front of it before they sit down, and you are welcome to do the same.

Inside the room

Every corner was designed to be photographed: crystal overhead, marble lit violet along the walls, gold ribbing on the ceiling and counters, and mirror mosaic set into each table.

Meet Aman Siddiqui

Vinayak is owned and run by Aman Siddiqui. He built it around a simple idea: a family dinner in Prayagraj should feel special without feeling formal.

That is why the room is dressed in crystal and velvet, while the menu sticks to the food people actually crave, from paneer butter masala and fresh naan to hakka noodles, pizza and cold coffee. You will often find Aman on the floor in the evenings, checking on tables and helping guests plan their next celebration.

“Come as you are. We will make the evening feel like an occasion.”

He is also the person to talk to when you are planning a celebration. Share your date, guest count and theme, and Vishal will arrange the decor, the cake table and the menu so the evening runs smoothly.
